I'm "glad" to hear others are getting unexpected exceptions, too. SAP support was making me think I was the only one; they never acknowledge their new release is buggy. I also have problems with variables I use in many scripts and in XDB file modifications. For example, %Parent.Database.Code% used to consistently return the database for any object. But now, PD randomly decides that is not a good variable, but %Parent.Folder.Database.Code% is. Then the next day, it doesn't like Folder and I have to go back to the other one. They say it's with my custom XDB file, but it happens with both Netezza5.0 and Oracle11g. In addition to frequent (daily) unexpected exceptions, I get frequent "PdShell16.exe has stopped working" crashes, too.
I was told that once SPO3 is installed, you can't go back to SP02 because the model files have been converted to their new format. Anyone else hear this? This means that if you have more than one person working on the same model, all must be at the same level.
