How we could able to get that recent data.
Here please refer RB's answer to you i.e Once our database opened after applying the consistent redo logs after that we'll not be able to apply any other redo to the database.
I also suggest you to maintain Disaster Recovery in parallel with Primary to avoid such nasty issues in future.
