Dear Fiori experts,
Please help us to understand our options for granting Fiori access to internet users. We do not have any SAML capability yet and we are not licensed for Netweaver Single Sign On. We want users to authenticate with their Active Directory credentials and not their SAP credentials. From our understanding that leaves us with only one remaining option - to use a SAP logon ticket from a Java instance. Is that correct?
We would like to use our Microsoft Forefront TMG to authenticate users with AD credentials. This product can perform a form fill but since our SAP userid's are not the same as our SAP userid's we're not too sure where to go from there.
We have seen Note 1250795 but we'd like to confirm that this is generally a good idea before we invest too much time into it.
Does anyone have any other suggestions for authentication using what we already have, or any comments on our plan to use a Java redirect to obtain a ticket that we hope to use to authenticate against the ABAP Fiori host?
