Re: Target Cost not calculated for production order linked to valuated project stock

Hello Ajay Maheshwari,

I tried that option with in requirement class configuration. As stock should to be project stock Account assignment category is given as Q and for individual Valuation indicator M is given.

Even if i select the  "Without Valuation Strategy indicator" system uses the fixed strategy logic for project stock valuation ( i think this is a stupid logic by SAP, not sure what's the need for this strategy applicable only for project stock).

By this system picks up the Plan Cost of Production Order which comes before the standard cost option. This is in absolute contradiction to the use of Without Valuation Strategy indicator .That's why is i chose the user-exit option, but itemization cannot be passed through user-exit. (is that true, is there any function module to pass itemization also?)

For goods movements the system valuates material components in valuated stock according to the following strategy.

1. It uses the standard price from the individual stock segment for the combination of WBS element, plant and material. The system determines the standard price for the individual stock segment during the first goods receipt.
2. If applicable, it uses the valuation from User-Exit COPCP002.
3. If a sales order item is account assigned to the WBS element and there is a product costing for the sales order item, the system looks for the corresponding costing item and uses this for the valuation, if the costing allows this. Only those costs are copied that are relevant for stock valuation.
4. It uses the value from the unit costing for the material component in the network or from the Seiban product costing. You must have previously activated Seiban product costing with Transaction CKW4.
5. The system uses the production order costing for material, plant and WBS element. The production order must have been costed without any errors.
6. The system uses the price from the material master."

Could you please check your system for the above requirement class setting. I am out of options here.
