In general there is no option to downgrade a DB2 version, while we
could refer to following options for it:
Before you upgrade db2 from DB2 V9.7 to DB2 10.1, please firstly ensure you performed a whole
database backup in V9.7 database.
if you need to revert the database from 10.1 to V9.7, please create a
DB2 V9.7 database instance and then restore the backup taken on Db2 9.7.
and in this case, the rollforward can't proceed across the version
boundary. It means that all DB changes that take place after the
upgrade to db2 10.1 are lost.
