       Just to add on above two responses.

1. If you want data for only particular month then think how you can restrict month for your keyfigures. Month should be = user input month. --> This shows Month Till  Date (MTD).

    In your case user inputs date, you will have pick only month and restrict month = 11 in your KeyFigure(RKF) . Then you will see the values of Nov month value.

2. If you want Year Till Date (YTD), then restrict Month <= user input month. In your case Month <=11. This will show values till November from January.

3. Some times, you may want to show particular Quarter Till Date, then you have to go for customer exits.
