Abhilash, that works visually in CR with your suggested new formula:-

But when the field is changed to "Can Grow", the data type becomes "memo" when i export to .xls(data only)  it looks like this :-

so so close, anywhere to go from here ???

I'm ultimately needing the wwns field broken out, as i need to link(join) to another report.
