The following are the limitations outlined in the system and software requirements document available on the service marketplace as regards this matter...
Because Arabic script and the Hebrew alphabet are written from right to left, the following functional limitations currently apply to the support of these languages on the user interface.
● SAP Cloud for Sales
Right-to-left (RTL) languages currently are not supported for e-mail integration, analytics or maps. Moreover, the activity timeline, the deal finder, the influencer map, marketing attributes and document flow are only supported for left-to-right (LFR) languages.
● SAP Cloud for Service
Right-to-left languages are not supported within the agent workspace for viewing the document flow and the creation of response templates. Furthermore, while right-to-left languages are supported by Adobe PDF output forms, translated examples are not provided. Lastly, the use of the SAP Cloud for Customer Add-In for Microsoft Outlook® is not supported for right-to-left languages in SAP Cloud for Service.
● SAP Cloud for Customer for iPad® app
Right-to-left languages are supported in online and offline mode alike, but currently are not supported for contextual help, sales quote previews, the navigation bar, maps, or the analytics dashboard.
● SAP Cloud for Industries Right-to-left languages currently are not supported for SAP Cloud for Customer industries solutions.
I have also written to product development to weigh in with an opinion in this matter.
