We have gone live with ML this year though we are using SAP MM/SD/FI/CO/PP modules since 2007. There was an enhancement for generating custom batch no for Materials(Traded finished Products) . This type of materials are split valuated and we are using Price Determination : 2 with Price Control : V for this after implementing ML.
We use price control : S with Price Det : 3 for internally manufactured items.
Due to the above mentioned enhancement , there is an inconsistency found between Batch Stock(MCHB) Qty vs Material Valuation(MBEW) table's Qty.Actually MBEW data is wrong whereas MCHB data is correct.Now during the ML-Implementation system automatically pulls MBEW data to ML.
While doing goods issue(601 movement) system throws an error "Valuated Stock becomes negative" , hence if we try to modify the table entry via editing it - system throws another error "Valuation of Material in Valuation Area inconsistent" which could be viewed thru CKMC as well.
Is there any way out to re-correct/load the data in MBEW and ML as well particularly for this single material? Pl note that earlier we have been advise by SAP-OSS to do the table entry modification before implementation of ML which is now affecting.
