Hi Michal,
I have an On-Premise installation of the SAP Web IDE and what I have done so far to overcome this problem is:
- cleared my browser's (Chrome) cache (maybe 100 times) and even tested with other browsers: Firefox and IE
- cleared all the user data in C:\SAPWebIDE\eclipse\serverworkspace
- uninstalled and reinstalled the SAP Web IDE
- created a new folder C:\SAPWebIDENEW and installed it again and it still doesn't work.
My destination is configured like this:
Description=NWGW 001
Type=HTTP
TrustAll=true
Authentication=NoAuthentication
Name=XXX
ProxyType=OnPremise
URL=https\://XX.XX.XX.XXX\:8000
WebIDEUsage=odata_abap,ui5_execute_abap,dev_abap

If there is some other place that I should have a look at please let me know.
