Well, if you use a feature using these fields it will obviously include such a structure. That's why I was pointing you that way.
However, changing a standard feature to use that structure won't usually work, because the coding around the feature isn't providing these fields.
You can always try or debug to check, but that's not how customisation in features is meant to be - it would be per accident, if it worked.
