My filter values are region codes. All available region codes in the system is listed in the dropdown box. And the user could choose any code. But some codes are not available my transaction table.
I think you're right, "if the filter value does not exist or is not valid, filtering is not applied and you end up with all the data or the initial view".
With prompt variables and DS1.setVariableValueExt() method, I have solved my situation but this influence dashboard performance badly because of roundtrip of database.
Any suggestion for me?
