Ankit, these are not two different options. Richa was talking about different timing. Configuration required is still the same either way.
Forget about the inbound IDoc. After record was created did you check if change pointers were generated and did you process them? If not then how do you expect an IDoc to be created? You might want to read documentation on the change pointer interface and then post specific steps that you did if there is still an issue.
