Hello,
I have inherited a report that has a stored procedure in the Page Header (Report Header is suppressed) and its purpose is to print the header on each page. Frankly, I have used Crystal for many years and have never seen this, or done it myself. In fact, its kind of overkill because the Page Header is not that complex and could be done just using fields.
Anyway, when this report is run, the report viewer comes up for about a second, disappears, and then reappears with the proper report and content. I have tried many tricks to get rid of this first popup but cannot determine why it is doing that at all???
Does anyone have any clue how to control this?
I am also told that "many reports" are written that way, but only a few exhibit this double-viewer-popup thing!! Any help would be most appreciated.
