Thank you Rogerio, if I do this I however would have to make that part of the monthly process for running it. The end product is going to be a series of pivot tables of the data pulled from BO. Given that, running two reports and storing the linking in a table that reads off the data and does the vlookup is likely my solution. The file is somewhat large so in a perfect world I'd limit using vlookups against a whole report, but I won't be the only person using excel as a work around for these kinds of things nor the last.
