Some keys things to keep in mind.
- last update of BOE XI 3.0 was released back in Oct 2008
- The product has been out of supported since 2009, well over 7+ years.
- Last updated version of BOE XI 3.1 w/ SP7 + Patch 03was released on Dec 2015
- No vendor can make there product forward compatiable
- BOE XI 3.0 Database drivers are VERY VERY OLD and NOT supported
- BOE XI 3.1 Database drivers are very recent and more current
- After migrating to BOE XI 3.1, you need to updated all you Database drivers
