Time Mgt - Reduction Rule issue in quota generation

Hi Experts,

 

Kindly help me in resolving the below issue.

 

I have two absence types 'Earned Leave' and 'Sick Leave'. I am using reduction rule to reduce inactive days in selection rule.

 

1. Earned leave is on accural basis, during unpaid leaves earned leave is not accrued. Hence, I have marked unpaid leaves in 'Assign Reduction Indicators for Absences'.

 

2. The issue is with sick leave. Sick leave is fixed 20 days per year and given whenever employee joins or on the first day of the year. Unpaid leaves have no effect on sick leave quota. To reduce proportionately for new joiners, I have created a different reduction rule on base period and assigned. Since, the unpaid days are selected in 'Assign Reduction Indicators for Absences', if any unpaid leaves exists, it is reducing proportionately. How to resolve this.
