Have look at the following link JsDoc Report - SAP UI development Toolkit for HTML5 - API Reference - sap.uiext.inbox.Inbox , it says that API can be changed dramatically. Instead of use sap.uiext.inbox.Inbox, you might try to create your own controls, based on How to create a custom UI5 control written by Phillip Smith
