as Kannan: many companies use own code to do so; but I belive "ALE" might be an option (I im not the expert there; but you can distrbute the Label View per ALE; therefore using ALE you should be able to populate it. LSMW is for me a "one" and only technique; if the user would like to update per mass the lable view his/herself you need an alternative; ALE is here as well not a good one; BUt I know that there was a "similar" discussion running in this FORUM; I was not able to find it any more. Here the context was the same: Some massupload was asked for (in this case the "tag" that the materiakl is EH&S relevan). You should check this FORUM; may be you find the thread
